Health Protection Plans, Inc. DBA Health Protection Plans, hereinafter below referred to as HPP, is a Sub-Chapter S Corporation registered and licensed in resident State of Florida. We are appointed by insurance carriers as intermediary brokers for all medical/health insurance products posted on this website to facilitate interested visiting customers to sign up directly with the carriers on the website online except for Medicare products which needs our enrollment help. We are notified by the insurance carriers when a customer signs up successfully online.
Privacy of Customer’s Personal Information
HPP remains in strict compliance with Federal and State laws and with the privacy policies of the insurance carriers and Social Media platforms that HPP has business affiliation with to pursue its business to acquire clientele. Giving of personal information to HPP and its broker is strictly by choice and election of the potential customer. There are two types of Personally Identifiable Information that a potential customer maybe asked to give as described below:
- Basic Personal Information for non-Medicare products: It typically involves name, address, phone number, email, gender, and age for online signup. HPP does not retain record of this information. However, it is accessible to HPP on carrier’s backend data site for us.
- Enrollment Information for Medicare products: In addition to basic personal information, the enrollment application requires the information from Medicare card, driver license, social security number, and name of Primary Care Physician on the PPO/HMO network who accepts new patients. We are obligated to retain this enrollment information.
Leads and Personal Information
It is our strict legal and ethical policy that your information disclosed to us strictly remains with us and that we do not pass on, share or sell lead that reaches us by our marketing efforts.
